I just got the bad news that my early arrival for this years temple crew
probably fell through... Anyone out there have an big chunk of playa
art they need help with a week or two before gates open? I'm in Seattle
so a local project has some appeal, but really I just want to build
something amazing on the playa. I'm booked solid until the 10th or so of
August but after that I'm 100% free to do whatever needs to be done as
long as I'm dusty while I do it. I even have my own ticket already, so
if you're limited on comp. tickets but still need a spare hand I'm your
man.
Guess I should tell ya a bit about myself, and my general usefulness:
This will be my 6th Burn, and hopefully my 3rd large art project. First
year my brain was so blown I just couldn't leave, so I stuck around for
a week and helped BlueHouse break down their GyroSphere... Not to
technical, but hey I can load a semi 14 hours a day for a week :-) Last
year I was one the Black Rock Glacier- got in a week early, did a whole
lot of setup, metal work, painting, and a ton of hauling, but in the end
the project just wasn't meant to be... This year I really want to see
something raise up from nothing.
When I'm not in Black Rock I'm a mechanical engineer/ massage therapist.
I can cut, paint, screw, nail, prep metal, make lemonaid, and weld just
a bit. So what do you think, do you have a project that could use me, or
know someone who does?
